Blue Jasmine (2013)
Are you in a happy marriage or relationship where you feel you have everything you could wish for?
(Whatever your answer, this chapter is for you)
Let's meet Jasmine. We see her as a rich, happy woman in a great marriage; she has it all: a loving husband, a great house, a circle of friends, expensive clothes, a great body, a totally beautiful woman in a perfect life....
Based on this, my first read is that she is: (Check all that apply)
What do you think about her? You're right. She's shallow person.
Jasmine is arrogant, a narcissist, and a gold digger.
She is terrified of change; she draws an image of the life and the person she wants to be and refuses to accept anything else.
Here's the situation. Jasmine discovered that her husband is cheating on her with one of her close friends. When she faces her husband with the reality, he admits and asks for a divorce, and in return, he will provide her with a very comfortable life.
What did Jasmine do? Jasmine reports her husband's suspicious activities, causing them to lose everything and him to commit suicide in prison.
The Breakdown:
Jasmine decides to take revenge on him, and she succeeded.
The "Reel" Consequence:

Jasmine does not use any shield against the pain and gives in to her anger and hurt feelings, causing her to lose everything. However, she does not give up and tries to create a new life for herself, similar to the previous one, with a new, rich political fiancé, Dwight, but he learns the truth about her trying to defraud him.
"Your ethical behavior is equal to your ex-husband," and "You could stand by and deceive me until I married you."
While revenge can harm the one who carries it out, dishonesty and turning a blind eye to wrongdoings will harm the person sooner or later. Resilience and starting over do not mean giving up on self-confidence, but arrogance and pride can harm the person and those around him.
Time to direct your *own* life. Let's apply the 'Jasmine Method.'
"You discover your partner is cheating on you and wants to end the relationship; however, you know something that can ruin his life ."
"Dear Jasmine, we need to be honest with ourselves to be able to see the Solutions."
How are you feeling after this 'Reel'?
