UNO

I think there are two types of players: those who play to win and those who play for fun, and I'm the second type.

This might not seem fair to the game developers who want to generate revenue, as games are, after all, commercial enterprises. However, they've solved this dilemma by placing ads for those who want to have fun without paying.

It's their right; it's not a problem!

But the real problem is the excessive, random placement of ads, which makes you feel like the game is a virus trap that pushes you to delete it.

The funny thing is, I read a comment from a girl addicted to games who complained that after paying to remove ads, she stopped receiving ads offering free points for watching them, which made her regret it and get angry!

But the real issue, I think, is playing these games for the sake of competition, making winning and acquiring what others have, even if it's fake points, the primary goal and the entire purpose of playing. I don't want to turn this into a serious discussion, as this isn't the right place for it. I'm here to talk about a game I really enjoy: Uno.

When I play Uno, it's purely for fun. I play the cheaper, classic version. I only play two-player Uno if I have a safety net, and I don't play with large sums of money unless I have one to prevent significant losses.

I sound like a very careful trader, don't I?

I've noticed that Uno's algorithms have learned my behavior, leading to more ads, which has reduced my gameplay. Receiving an ad after every game kills the excitement. After the game tried every possible trick to drain my score, it started bombarding me with ads after every single match!

But it's okay. I think it's perfectly fair, isn't it?

Do I get bored playing only one type of game? Well, yes, sometimes. But ultimately, it's all the same card game, and I don't think winning or losing in other Uno variations changes how I feel about the game. Also, that's why there are other online games...if you get bored, you can always try another one!

I hope the creators of Uno won't be upset, because I truly enjoy it and consider it one of the best online card games ever.
