I wanted to wait a little bit before deciding which anime I like best, and actually, this season, I do not feel like there is an anime I really want to watch. I do not want to mess up an episode, but some good ones can be nice to watch, with great animation, good story, and so on. 

However, this time I will choose my list only from new anime, not from anime with sequels, because if they have sequels, that means they're popular, so maybe it's better to check them out. 

Now the best 5 new anime this season are 

Number 5 : Koori no Jouheki

You can watch this on Netflix; it is about four students, two boys and two girls, who have communication issues, making them create walls between them and other people. They have different approaches, as not all these walls are the same. It's a nice anime dealing with social issues in school for teenagers. 

Number 4: Mao 

90tees etomspher, if you like monsters, yokai, shingami, and this kind of anime, teen romance, and fantasy and historical with old-style animation and story, this anime is for you.

Number 3: Yomi no Tsugai

Good fantasy story if you like anime with supernatural characters who use monsters or other supernatural creatures to fight, and a mysterious village where a boy tries to figure out his power and the secrets behind his village, his family, and his twin sister. It is a good watch.

Number 2: Shunkashuutou Daikousha: Haru no Mai

I was not sure whether to put this first or second, but the story that goes with a very slow base led me to put it second. It is a nice story about people representing the seasons, their guardian, and the complex feelings they have. While the spring girl and winter boy represent potential romance, the story focuses more on her relationship with her female bodyguard and her healing after a bad accident. 

Number 1: Tongari Boushi no Atelier

And I think a lot of people will agree to give this anime the number one spot. At the same time, the story does not look so new, with the beautiful animation, the magical atmosphere, and the journey of a small girl trying to become a magician and save her mother after turning her by mistake into ice with forbidden magic.

There are some interesting anime this season, some of which can be considered +18 due to nudity and mature themes; however, they have interesting stories and good fighting scenes.

Some cute and fun to watch, especially for people who like princess stories 

Jishou Akuyaku Reijou na Konyakusha no Kansatsu Kiroku.

Nigashita Sakana wa Ookikatta ga Tsuriageta Sakana ga Ookisugita Ken.
