Beware of Malicious People

Beware of malicious people who don't call traits by their proper names. Beware of those who label your kindness or spontaneity as stupidity, foolishness, or idiocy; those who call your intelligence meanness, your caution cowardice, your refusal to submit selfishness, your politeness, refinement, and composure boredom and a burden, and your prudence malice. Beware of those who distort your image and self-perception with their poisonous words.

Some people love playing with words and refuse to call personal traits by their true names because they refuse to say anything kind to others.

These are people whose hearts are filled with darkness and hatred. Kind words refuse to leave their mouths because they lack kindness in its simplest form.

Such people are consumed by jealousy to the point that they cannot utter kind words, even if they are sincere, because they don't know how to be honest. This type of person uses sweet words to deceive, mislead, or gain advantages.

Therefore, their sweet words are laden with malice, aimed at something else and not sincere.

However, if you are someone they cannot exploit or benefit from, or if you ignite envy or jealousy in their hearts, they cannot express their true opinion because kind words refuse to come from their mouths. So they begin to distort what should be said, so "You are kind" becomes "You are stupid."

"You are wise and intelligent" becomes "You are mean and malicious."

"You are calm and composed" becomes "You are boring and dull."

"You are cautious" becomes "You are cowardly."

They refuse to acknowledge the truth; they refuse to accept that you possess a good quality they lack; they refuse to admit that you are better and have virtues. These people don't distinguish between strangers and family. You'll find a woman insulting her daughter, or a girl insulting her sister, or another insulting her friend.

In their own eyes, they are foolish, mean, and boring, so they refuse to describe you in a way that makes you better than them.

This doesn't only apply to women; men suffer from it too. I see many examples around me. My husband, I, and others I know have suffered from these people who project their bad character and black hearts behind advice, family, friendship, or work.

Therefore, don't allow these people to tarnish your image. Don't let them project their negativity onto you. Good character isn't a luxury; it's a duty. If someone refuses to treat you with kindness, it's best to distance yourself from their poison.

Or at the very least, learn to ignore them and don't let the words of a sick person take root within you, as many sick souls are living among us.
