The Washine Machine that refuse to die

I don't know why I decided to write about my washing machine. It could be because after visiting some electronics stores and seeing the new models, I felt a surge of excitement and a strong desire to own one. Honestly, have you seen the number of buttons on those machines, the control panels, and even their internet connectivity? I'm one of those people who can easily be tricked into buying something just because it has Wi-Fi!

So, while my new refrigerator has Wi-Fi, I've only used it once since I bought it. The pressure cooker, the air fryer, and everything else also have Wi-Fi; I've used it once or twice, but it was a major factor in my decision to buy these appliances. Let's be honest: when we see a device with Wi-Fi, we think for a moment it's some supercomputer that will make everything different from the old ones, like it's another person in the house. But the truth is, it doesn't really change anything!

Nevertheless, those shiny new washing machines with all their features were strongly tempting me to buy one. But I have a rule in my life that prevents me from giving in to such temptations. My buying rule is: I only exchange something if... well... it dies! I'm not one of those people obsessed with replacing furniture, appliances, and phones just because new models come out. It might seem illogical to some, but I invest my emotions when buying furniture for my home. It's not just a piece of furniture... It's part of my home, and therefore, my family!

This explains why I don't like replacing furniture unless it's broken or malfunctioning. Some might feel this is unhealthy and that it's just junk. I mean, my friend keeps telling me it's just junk that can be replaced, but I invest a lot of time and effort in choosing it. When it works for years without breaking down, it's unfair to throw it away because a newer model comes out. Am I being too fair, even to inanimate objects? Maybe... because I'm a Libra. My beloved washing machine turned ten this year and is still working perfectly. It makes me want all my electronics to be this brand. Everyone wants to invest their money in furniture or appliances that last a long time. At least your heart and wallet want you to.

Finally, I've decided I won't sacrifice this resilient washing machine until it breathes its last. It deserves to be rewarded for its tireless work by remaining a part of our family. Let's respect even scrap metal because one day, when we grow older and are too weak to do the work of the young, we too will become scrap flesh that can be replaced.

At least I know this washing machine deserves an unpaid advertisement. So, I'll say it outright: thank you, Archilk Altus, for your service and for continuing to serve me for ten years, and perhaps even longer.
