I've heard a lot about the use of artificial intelligence in song production, and I've even encountered artists who defend their music, insisting it's their own creation and not AI-generated when accused by some followers.

However, Today's task was creating a song using AI.

 I tried creating my first song, and by the way, (my voice is terrible), I can't sing at all. It was easier than I expected. The truth is, creating short films using AI is more difficult and more demanding, but it's still easier than the traditional method as long as you have a good AI subscription.

Anyway, the experiment was easy: First, I asked ChatGPT to write me the lyrics to a romantic song that included the phrase "I will always love you." And the result? On the first try, it wrote those lyrics:

After writing these beautiful lyrics, I used Suno AI. I copied the lyrics and selected the music type (pop, rock, rap, etc.) and the vocal style (female or male, etc.). Then I clicked "Generate," and it gave me two free versions and two versions that required a premium account to listen to in full. However, it lets you listen for a few seconds to see whether the premium versions are better.

After that, I downloaded the song and edited the video in CapCut using the available video tools. I tried to make it suitable for the lyrics, aiming to include at least a brief glimpse of the words in the video.

Now, I think the most important question anyone could ask right now is: Can I make money from creating songs using artificial intelligence? I haven't reached that stage yet to share my experience, but the answer is both yes and no.

You know, everything created using artificial intelligence has a digital fingerprint, which means you can't claim the product as your own. The moment you upload it to social media, YouTube and other platforms won't object; the video will appear and get views, and you can use the music you created as you wish, as long as it's for personal use.

And here's the difference: as long as you're not directly profiting from the music, it's yours to enjoy and download as you please. Let's say this music has become popular and gained a lot of views, and you want to monetize it. Well, I'm talking about Suno AI. If you created this music for free, without a monthly or annual subscription, you can't monetize it. However, if it's part of a monthly or annual subscription, the song's rights are permanently yours.

There are three important points: First, you can't simply put the song on a static background and publish it without adding any artistic elements if you want to monetize it.

Second, after the song becomes popular and you decide to subscribe to the paid plan to acquire the rights, the song doesn't automatically become yours. You have to regenerate the song and change the track. (Will you lose views, or will the video lose its rating? Can you produce the same song with the same sound or style that caused it to become popular? I really don't know.) A resemblance is possible, but the same lyrics or music... only YouTube can answer that. They'll investigate the song and tell you whether they found copyright issues.

Ultimately, I think it's not just about the song itself. I believe that we humans don't just fall in love with a song; our emotions and interest in artists are also invested in it. Therefore, we see not only in the music world but also in the film industry and even content creation that human presence, personalities, and interactions are what create the strongest connection. We want to see the singer, their face, their expressions, their interactions. We've become a world obsessed with image or media personality more than the content itself. That's why we find people achieving fame, whether based on love or hate, despite lacking talent.
