Trying Adobe Firefly as a Content Creating Tool

Many AI tools help with content creation, and although most are based on the same basic concept, there are slight differences, such as ease of use and, most importantly, the monthly subscription fee.

While I was eager to try making my first short film with AI, I found myself faced with many options, most of which were similar. The most important factors for me were ease of use, the trial period, and, of course, the monthly fee and the number of credits I would receive.

After a short search, I decided that the first tool I would use for content creation would be Adobe Firefly. Why?

First: The tool allowed me to try it for a week, as if I had paid for a monthly premium subscription.

Second: The price is much lower than similar tools, and, more importantly, the number of credits is higher, offering the user 4,000 credits (a cheaper option with 2,000 credits offers fewer services).

Third: For video creation, credit usage varies by AI, ranging from 80 to 170 credits per video frame.

Fourth: Image creation is free.

Fifth: The tool offers additional services, such as audio production, sound effects, music, and more, with credits starting at 1.

Sixth: It has a studio space with a simple interface for combining audio, video, and music, powered by AI.

Seventh: You can edit images and videos within the program.

Eighth: Free use of Photoshop and Adobe Express.

Now the question is, should I buy the premium subscription? I found that 4,000 credits is enough to produce, I think, two films, maybe three, depending on the length. The film I made was a minute and a few seconds long and used approximately 1,500 credits. Premium might make image production and editing available even without credits, but without a monthly subscription, these features become limited, and the artwork of boards becomes public rather than private.

Currently, I'm not considering getting Premium. I'm still testing other options that might offer greater ease and opportunity for production. However, for me,  the best tool I've had is one that lets me test its capabilities, rather than one that doesn't let me produce anything to know its limitations. In the end, I produced a short, one-minute film and was somewhat satisfied with the result.

I'll leave the link to the film here: The Winter Spell.
