Ai and My Skincare Routine

I didn't turn to artificial intelligence out of obsession, but because I lost faith in dermatologists.

This doesn't mean at all that AI, at least in its current state, can replace doctors, but it can at least try to fill gaps or understand us better.

Often, the fault isn't really the doctor's. Short consultations, a shortage of doctors, a large number of patients, and sometimes the patient themselves—their anxiety, withholding, or forgetting information—make the consultation and subsequent treatment completely unsatisfactory.

We also mustn't forget that some treatments can only be prescribed by a doctor. This means that even if AI helps you diagnose your condition and guide you to the correct treatment, you can't simply obtain it, as it requires a doctor's approval, like antibiotics, or at least you can't use your health insurance to purchase the medication, which means a higher price.

However, many, including doctors, may feel threatened by artificial intelligence. But I think we all need to realize, including doctors and others, that no one can see or know everything. The human mind remains limited compared to the machine's ability to handle massive amounts of data.

So why not take advantage of technology instead of fighting it? The biggest problem, however, is that there will always be people who think they can abandon human effort and rely on machines, forgetting something very important: machines were created by humans!

Back to my topic... After visiting several dermatologists, I haven't found a real solution for my cheeks. I suddenly started having pimples that appear only on my cheeks and never go away. On a recent visit to a dermatologist, he/she recommended a gel—I won't mention its name here—and told me to continue using it until the pimples disappeared. Unfortunately, a whole year has passed, and they haven't disappeared! As a result, my skin barrier was destroyed, and I started experiencing dryness in different areas of my face, along with persistent acne on my cheeks. That's when I decided to give up... The doctor I'd seen before prescribed an ointment to be used for only one month, after which I had to stop, but I didn't see any results.

My makeup looked cracked and unnatural, moisturizer wasn't helping much, and the acne kept staring back at me in the mirror, declaring its victory...

That's when I decided to try Chat GPT... I explained my sad story... I showed it pictures of my cheeks... and it gave me an amazing skincare routine. I stopped buying products from here and there and invested my budget in good-quality products. And the result was... I managed to save my skin... At least it's no longer dry and cracked, and the acne on my cheeks is now coming and going... It's mainly related to my diet, not products or medications, something none of the doctors discussed with me...!!

Isn't that something to think about...!!
